The Athenaeum Club Hobart is proud to have Wrest Point trained
Chef Terry J. Walker as chef de cuisine.
Chef Walker presents a quality, varied and balanced menu blending
traditional and contemporary styles to suit the discerning palate.
Main Dining Room.
- Open Monday to Friday for Lunch from 12:30 pm.
- Full a la carte menu available
- Quick and light selections are also available.
- Club Table operates daily for
single diners to join.
- Open at night for private bookings for 10 people or more, and
for regular Club Functions.
- Available for Private Bookings on weekends.
Casual Dining.
Open on the last Friday of each month for Casual Dining. Reservations
required.
On these
nights, the dress code is relaxed and Members may treat the Club
as they would their other favourite restaurants around town.

in neat casual, no jacket or tie required
Bring family, friends, and work colleagues for a distinct night
out.
Club Bar.
The Club Bar opens daily from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Lounge.
Open at all times the Club is open. (ie 9am - 5pm)
Relax with a coffee beside the
fire, read the daily papers and magazines available, or use the
desk to attend to some correspondence.
The Lounge and Club Bar Room is also an excellent venue for cocktail
parties and pre-function drinks.

available.
Athena Room:
A private single table dining room for up to 12 patrons with
its own private bar.
President's Room:
A private elegant dining room with a single table capacity for up
to 22 patrons.
Main Dining Room:
A beautifully appointed traditional dining room with large window
areas and seating for up to 80 patrons, plus a dance floor.
Functions:
A number of options are available for members to hold private meetings
and functions in our rooms. This facility is also available outside
of normal trading days and hours. Please contact our office for information
