The Athenaeum Club is a Social Club providing business
and professional men with social opportunities,
fine food, and cultural activities.

It has been in operation since 1889, and in its current location
as a purpose built Clubhouse since 1904.

The name "Athenaeum" is from the Goddess of the Arts, "Athena".
